What kind of rims would you recommend on a 2007 Cadillac CTS?

I just bought a 2007 Cadillac CTS and I want to put rims on it. I really cant choose what kind though. Any suggestions that would look good on this car! If you can find out the name of the dealer who sold it new, their parts department can make you a key and they don't usually even ask for proof of ownership. Most dealers put an advertising sticker on the rear bumper.

A locksmith can be expensive, but he can open your trunk. Or you can buy a "slim jim" at an autoparts store and open one of the doors. You slip it between the glass and rubber trim of the door about even with the manual door lock button. Work it inside the door pushing or pulling when you feel something. No guarantees. If you get a door open you should be able to get the back seat out, maybe just the back of it. The seats are bolted and cliped down around the edges. Then you can squeeze your way into the trunk and get your keys. Tgeorge is right. You may be able to open the trunk from inside the car.

If the doors are uinlocked you can use the trunk release in the glove box.If it needs power and is not wired hot,git a jumper wire from the positive battery post and touch each side of switch til it opens,power should already be there.Last option is call onstar and they can signal it to open.......george

Cost to repair 1994 Cadillac DeVille Head Gaskets?

Hello I was given a second vehicle, which is a 1994 Cadillac DeVille. However, it has blown headgasket and I just would like to get a rough estimate what it would cost to repair this problem. Cost to repair 1994 Cadillac DeVille Head Gaskets?Those are good cars and as long as it's in good condition, I'd say that it's worth it. If you do the job yourself or have a very mechanically inclined friend, the job could be done for under $100. But if you pay a mechanic to do it, multiply that figure by 7 or 8. The parts are cheap, but it's a somewhat labor intensive job. I've replaced head gaskets on several vehicles and it usually takes a full day to do. I replaced one on a Deville a few years ago. It took me two days to do it. I was drinking beer and taking my time though. Also, if you're going to replace one bad head gasket, you might as well replace the other one. You MIGHT need to get the heads machined as they are made of aluminum, but if you're careful, you won't need to do that. I have never had to have it done. Whatever you do, replace BOTH head gaskets even if only one is bad. To get to the head gaskets, you have to take the intake off, valve covers, exhaust, maybe a water pump, thermosthat housing etc. All of those things have gaskets as well that will have to be replaced due to you fixing a head gasket. You don't want to have to replace them all again because you only replaced one of the head gaskets. Murphy's law says that the other head gasket will go bad once you get it all back together. I learned this lesson the hard way and it SUCKED. But yes, parts for a 94 Cadillac are cheap. You could get both head gaskets and the other gaskets you'd need for around $100. You'd need to change your oil and antifreeze after a head gasket replacement as well. It's a real PITA. no it wont hurt the car but it will be noisy at some engine speeds and it may even have an annoying drown at cruising speeds. If I was you I would put on a high flow resonator this will make the car a little louder but with out the rasp or drown.

No it wouldn't. But the noise from the muffler at certain RPM points might be more noisy. If your going to take it to a shop in the future though for the muffler they will force you to put a full muffler system on it to meet your states laws. Good Luck

Thank YouWhere can i find the serial number on a 1960 Cadillac Series?They have a plastic tag on the left doorjam .They also use the engine number for the ID number.Other places to check are on the top flange of the frame left hand side member forward from and adjacent to the radiator support.Another spot is the top of the frame rail on the passenger's side, just behind the upper contol arm.

I just bought a 2003 Cadillac CTS which is in poor condition. The car has 99 thousand miles on it and already has a bunch of problems. It's in the shop and they are analying the vehicle, though they already made it clear the car has issues. So once I pay and fix everything how long do you think the car will last if I take car of it?
