no it wont hurt the car but it will be noisy at some engine speeds and it may even have an annoying drown at cruising speeds. If I was you I would put on a high flow resonator this will make the car a little louder but with out the rasp or drown.
No, it will not hurt, might be a slight louder noise level at tail pipe. If the tail pipe is in good shape, an extender pipe can be purchased or made and installed.Will it hurt my cadillac if I remove the resonator and run a regular tail pipe?
No it wouldn't. But the noise from the muffler at certain RPM points might be more noisy. If your going to take it to a shop in the future though for the muffler they will force you to put a full muffler system on it to meet your states laws. Good Luck
