Where is the hood release latch located on a 1992 Cadillac Seville?

I just got this car- when I pull the release in the car, that works, but for some reason when I slide my hand underneath the hood part, I can't find the latch. Not sure if my hand is just short or what. how about squat down and look should be able to see it and really cant be many things there you can touch or move so dont think you shoul dhave any problems finding it
