In my opinion, the years you mentioned were some pretty good years for Cadillac. The cars were fairly reliable. The exception to this is the Catera! No it's a GM product wich is very reliable.Is the Cadillac Deville 1994 to 1999 a reliable car or does it break down after 50k miles?Depends on how well the car was maintained. It is although a very exspensive car to repair if something does go wrong. And the Northstar 4.6L engine is not (in my eyes) a dependable motor. If it overheats one time. You mine as well replace the head gaskets. And its easier and cheaper to just replace the motor itself. Just my opinion.
