What signs are you having that it's overheating? Are you boiling over, or just going by the dash temp guage? try turning your a/c on while the engine is running and make sure your coolant fans kick on and if they do now check your temperture gauge did it came back to normal? if so then your problem is on your radiator fan system. check the relays and sending unit on the termostat housing . when ever you turn your A/C on your radiator fans should kick on . good luckMy 1997 Cadillac Deville is over heating what could be the cause?could be the new thermostat.... ive bought new ones that are bad before//My 1997 Cadillac Deville is over heating what could be the cause?
Head Gasket?
Is all the air bled out of the system?
On some engines they have a bleeder screw to bleed the air out.
Could be air locked.
