Anyone know how to get a cadillac deville when the vats system wont let it turn over?

I have 1993 cadillac deville it has a pass key 2 system in it for some reason the keys only work once in a while it is really frustrating that my own security system wont let me drive my carAnyone know how to get a cadillac deville when the vats system wont let it turn over?If your Ign key has a little black chip in it, you can read its resistance and get a value. Say its 1000 ohms, go to radio shack and get a 1000 ohm resistor, then under the dash, there will be 2 little wires leading up the steering column, cut them and solder in the resistor to simulate the black resistor chip in the key, bypassing the VATS ign lock cylinder. Chances are a wire is broken right at the ign lock cylinder.Anyone know how to get a cadillac deville when the vats system wont let it turn over?On a 1993 model, my guess is that the chip in the key is worn to the point that the lock cylinder won't read it at times. Do you have another key to check?
